2026 Calendar Launch Press Conference
Good morning, members of the press, partners, and friends.
Today, we are proud to officially unveil the 2026 BAF Insurance calendar, a project that speaks directly to who we are as a company and as a country.

For more than 100 years, BAF has been Bahamian owned, rooted in this community, and deeply connected to our culture. Being an advocate for Bahamian people also means being an advocate for Bahamian creativity,
storytelling, and cultural expression. Over the years, our calendars have celebrated Bahamian heroes, iconic landmarks, and even our cuisine, and this year’s edition continues that tradition through music.
The 2026 calendar celebrates Bahamian musical legends and emerging voices whose artistry has shaped, and continues to shape, our national sound. Featured artists include D-Mac, Sweet Emily, Geno D, Shine, Nishie, and KB. The calendar also pays tribute to the late, great Elon Moxey, whose contribution to Bahamian music continues to inspire generations.
And I’ll say with pride: BAF has the best calendars. They are free to the public, and every year we receive requests from schools, residents, and Bahamians living abroad who make sure to call ahead and ask us to save one for them. That tells us these calendars have become more than a marketing piece. They’re keepsakes. They’re reminders of home.
At BAF, culture matters. Community matters. And supporting Bahamian talent is not something we do occasionally. It is something we intentionally build into who we are.
Thank you to the artists, the creative team, and everyone who helped bring the 2026 calendar to life. We are proud to share it with The Bahamas and beyond.
